Whether you need the chainring for the beefeier 1/8" chains or slimmer 3/32" width. The tooth we cut will suit the thickness you need properly but the choice of the overall thickness is upto your wallet and the riding you expect to do.

If you order a chainring with a 1/8" tooth thickness and have it cut from 3mm plate then there is no ledge or machined step around the outside of the chainring. This does not affect the chainring but may not be the look you are after.

The difference in the machined step around the outside can be seen in the picture to the left.
