Our Chainring Designs

We are now offering an even greater choice of chainrings.

We have increased our range by another eight designs...thats twelve in total and yes there are more on the way.

Quite simply put our system of producing only what is asked for and ordered allows us to offer an ever increasing range of designs and sizes.

Our designs are made up of a series of smaller programs that we link to create the chainring.

So basically minimal programming for us and maximum range of choice for you.

Currently chainring orders are being completed in about 2-3 weeks.

Details to know before you order

We are running with a simple numbering system to identify the chainrings......so no fancy names for now.

Our chainrings are cut from 3mm and 4mm plate stock and the teeth profile are machined to the appropriate thickness.

You can order any of the designs above in the following sizes and bolt circle diameters (bcd)

94 BCD 30T to 50T
104 BCD 32T to 50T
110 BCD 34T to 50T
130 BCD 39T to 56T
135 BCD 39T to 56T
144 BCD 43T to 56T
151 BCD 44T to 56T

We also have avaialble in any of the designs above the following bolt circle diameter (bcd)

58 64 68 74 86 94 102 120 122.

No doubt we have probably missed some bcd sizes that you may need.

Simple contact us and if need be we will add that size of bcd to our jig and specially cut that chainring for you......no extra charge.

You might like to know why we think you should buy one of our chainrings?? We use aluminium grade 5083 which is loosely called armourplate (that sounds much cooler... don't you think.) It is a non heat treatable alloy which hardens as it is cold worked. It has all the characteristics we are looking for and the best part is that it is well priced which in turn means our chainrings do not get too expensive.

The tooth profile on all our chainrings is a lot closer to the diameters of the rollers on chains. Because our chainrings are not designed for front gear changes our tooth profile is thicker we have less of a chamfer (less of the corner is machined away.) which means the chain is "captured" whilst sitting in the belly of the tooth which means that there is no backlash or slop when it is married with a quality chain. So it is fair to say that we actually physically have more tooth than other brands and because of the tight fit minimal chance for pre mature wearing of the chainring.

We produce our chainrings one at a time in a single setup which means that once the piece of material is placed onto our jig then it does not come off until it has been completely machined. So both the bolt holes and the teeth are produced together in the one setting so no high spots....read that again.....no high spots.

Our system of producing and ordering chainrings means that we do not make a chainring until you order it. Our pricing may seem cheap by comparison to other brands but it is quite simple there is nothing to pay for and nobody in between to be paid until you place an order....wow don't we feel clever.

To finish it all off we have a simple pricing system.

3mm Plate Anodised Black Plain Silver
Any Size $58.00 $50.00

4mm Plate Anodised Black Plain Silver
Any Size $78.00 $70.00

Polished chainrings are now available...$30.00 to have one side polished and $45.00 to polish both sides.

The anodised black is a matt finish and the silver colour is raw (not anodised).

We are looking into coloured finishes .... we will let you know how we go.

Our prices include free freight anywhere in Australia and if you buy 10 or more in the one order you get a further 5% discount.

International orders are welcome......please contact us for a quote.

To order simply contact us and give us your name (we like to be a little personal) and basically the sizes you are after.

eg. 42T, 130BCD, 1/8", 3mm plate, Design7, Polished finish single side.

Six things in total to make sure we get it right.....dont stress if you miss anything we will ask before it gets cut.

If you are not entirely sure of the details contact us and we will help with working it out with you.

If you do not see it ask we can probably cut it for you......or it might be available soon.
